Frequently Asked Questions about natural stone catalog

How white is the marble really? What is the difference between Thassos and Bianco Carrara C?
While both are premium white marbles, they have entirely different visual characters:
Thassos is renowned as one of the purest white stones in the world. It features an ultra-bright, uniform, snow-white background with virtually no veins or dark spots. Because of its unique crystalline structure, it reflects light like sugar or fine snow, giving it a radiant, luminous glow.
Bianco Carrara C is the ultimate Italian classic. The "C" grade represents the brightest selection of Carrara, featuring a clean, light-grey to white background accented by elegant, soft grey veining. It offers that timeless, sophisticated "Renaissance" aesthetic.
Does the choice of stone affect the price and production time?
Yes. Thassos is a rarer, premium material that is exceptionally hard and brittle, requiring slower, more meticulous carving by our masters to ensure flawless details. Bianco Carrara C is a more readily available classic that is highly responsive to the chisel. Therefore, projects in Thassos generally require a higher budget and slightly more production time than those in Carrara.
